Refund and Return Policy

30-Day Change of Mind Returns

We accept change of mind returns within 30 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original condition
  • The item must be in its original packaging with all accessories, hardware, and documentation included
  • Proof of purchase must be provided
  • Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense

Rooftop tents and awnings that have been unpacked and assembled or installed on a vehicle are not eligible for change of mind returns. Please confirm fitment and suitability before installation. If you are unsure whether a product suits your vehicle or rack setup, contact us before ordering.

Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving the returned item and confirming its condition. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Warranty

Summit Seeker products are covered by the following warranty periods from the date of purchase:

  • Rooftop tents and awnings: 24 months
  • Roof rack rails: 24 months
  • Camp shower tent: 12 months
  • Accessories: 12 months

Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper installation or use beyond the product's rated specifications
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, or modification
  • Canvas or fabric damage caused by improper storage (e.g. packing away wet)
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect function

To make a warranty claim, contact us at summitseekeroffroad@gmail.com with your order number, a description of the defect, and photographs. We will assess the claim and advise on next steps, which may include repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Return Process

  1. Email us at summitseekeroffroad@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return
  2. We will confirm eligibility and provide a return authorisation number
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging
  4. Ship the item to the address provided, including the return authorisation number on the outside of the package
  5. We will inspect the item on receipt and process your refund or replacement within 5 business days

We recommend using a tracked shipping service for returns. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.
